It’s like I took a little piece of that luxury watch world and made it my own.
Now, I’m not saying this is something everyone should try. It takes a lot of time, a lot of patience, and you’ve gotta be okay with things not going perfectly. But if you’re like me, and you love the look of those high-end watches but can’t afford them, this is a fun little project. It’s a way to appreciate the design and craftsmanship without breaking the bank.
I wear it from time to time, and it always gets a few looks. People ask me where I got it, and I get a kick out of telling them I made it myself. It’s not about tricking anyone into thinking it’s a real Jaeger-LeCoultre. It’s about appreciating the style and having a unique piece that I can call my own.
