Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of those CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chronoscope watches for a while now. It all started a few months back when I saw a picture of one online. You know, the one they call the “Speedy”? Yeah, that’s the one. It just looked so cool, and I had to have it.
First, I did some digging around online, just to see what’s what. I mean, these ain’t cheap, so I wanted to be sure I was getting a good deal, and I learned a bit about them. These Speedmasters are pretty popular, especially the 2021 ones. The first step, you know? Gotta start somewhere.

Then, I started looking for places that sell them. There are a few online stores, but I was kinda nervous about buying something this expensive online without seeing it first, so I tried to find some local shops that might have them, but no luck. These are usually listed online but the key is finding a reputable one. I didn’t want to end up with some fake, you know?
Visit the Store
So, I finally bit the bullet and decided to go to one of those specialty stores. I gotta say, seeing the watch in person was something else. It’s a bit bigger than I thought, 43mm, but it still has that classic Speedmaster look. They even let me try it on. Felt good on my wrist, real solid. They had a few different models, but I had my heart set on the Chronoscope. They let me play around with the chronograph, it’s all activated by a top pusher. Then you stop it with another, and read your speed off that Tachymeter thing. Pretty neat.
The store people were pretty helpful, answering all my questions, even the dumb ones. I asked about how tough it is and they said it was built like a tank. Good for everyday wear. They even said it might be worth something someday as an investment. Not that I plan on selling it, but it’s good to know. The guys at the store were real helpful, showing me how it all worked and even letting me try it on. It was not as expensive as I thought it would be. Not like one of those gold ones, that’s for sure. Felt good on my wrist, not too heavy, not too light.
Decide to Purchase
After that, I went home and thought about it some more. Slept on it, you know? Talked to the wife about it. She wasn’t thrilled, but she understood. This was something I really wanted. I mean, it is just like a basic watch that just tells time, but I wanted it for the history behind it. Did you know it went to the moon? How cool is that?
Finally, I decided to go for it. Went back to the store and picked it up. It was exciting, I gotta say. Like a kid with a new toy. Even the box it came in was fancy. Anyway, that’s my story.
Wear It Out
Now I’m wearing it every day, and I gotta say, I love it. It’s a great watch, and it makes me feel good wearing it, you know? Like I’m part of something bigger.
