Alright, so I got this watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer, the “Classic Style” one. It was a bit of an adventure, to say the least.
First off, I got my hands on this thing from their official store. This new Marstimer, it does all that. I mean, this thing is a beast. 45 mm, made of grade 2 titanium. I saw this watch online and thought, “Yeah, that looks cool.” But it’s way more than just looks.
I learned that this “X-33” thing has been around for a bit, but the Marstimer is the new hotness. This watch, its technical name is the Speedmaster Professional X-33 reference 3290.50, first came out way back on March 25, 1998. And get this, it’s apparently made with some help from the European Space Agency (ESA). It’s made for them astronaut folks, you know. So, it’s got some street cred.
Unboxing and First Impressions
- Took the watch out of its box.
- Felt the weight and the titanium build. It’s sturdy but not too heavy.
- Played around with the buttons and the digital display.
Now, this Marstimer, it’s not your average ticker. I started messing around with the settings. There are options for Mars time, Earth time, alarms, timers, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming at first. So, I did what anyone would do – I grabbed the manual.
Digging into the Features
- Mars Time: Figured out how to set it to Mars time. It’s a bit trippy seeing a different time scale.
- Earth Time: Switched back to Earth time because, well, I live on Earth.
- Alarms and Timers: Set a few alarms and timers. They’re pretty loud, so that’s good.
After getting the hang of the basics, I dove deeper into the features. Today I am going to mess around with this OMEGA X-33 Marstimer, trying to get a classic style on it. I first got wind of this Marstimer thing a while back, probably early this year. I mean, I wore it around, showed it off a bit. People were curious, especially the space nerds. They loved all the Mars-related features. Me? I just liked that it looked cool and had a bunch of functions.
Alright, so I got my hands on this watch, the OMEGA X-33 Marstimer, the one they’re calling the “Classic Style.” Let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey figuring this thing out. I wore the watch for a few weeks, just to get a feel for it. It’s comfortable, I’ll give it that. The titanium makes it light on the wrist, which is nice for everyday wear.
So, is this CopyOMEGA Ω X-33 Marstimer Classic Style worth it? I guess it depends. If you’re into space stuff, or you just want a watch that’s different and has a lot of features, then yeah, go for it. But if you’re just looking for something to tell the time, this might be overkill. For me, I like it. It’s a conversation starter, and I’ve learned a thing or two about Mars time, so that’s a bonus.
And that’s my experience with this copy of OMEGA. Hope my sharing was helpful to you guys, and see ya!
