- Master Control is a big deal: There’s a lot of history with the Master Control line. The Master Control Date is a classic, simple style for daily wear.
- The details are impressive: They put a lot of work into these watches. I mean the rotor weight is often made with gold!
Honestly, I was getting pretty into it. Then I started focusing on the Master Control Date specifically. It just has that classic, timeless look that I really dig. Simple, clean, but you can tell it’s quality.
I was looking at some of the newer Master Calendar models too. The one with that jumping date hand at 5 o’clock is kind of cool, but honestly, it felt a bit much for me. I like the simpler vibe of the Date model.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole JLC thing. It’s been a fun little project, learning about these watches. I’m definitely a bigger fan now than I was before. I am happy with my watch and what I learned about JLC.
